Any recipe tagged “Gluten Free” is either presented as a gluten free recipe or one that can easily be made gluten free with the suggested alterations and tips.  No recipe is guaranteed; please consult a physician to determine what is appropriate for your body.

In general, the recipes at Homestead Lady never include ingredients like corn syrup or other processed sugars, margarine, highly processed grains or synthetic dyes.  Instead, we will help you craft a healthy kitchen based on whole foods principles:

  • whole, properly processed grains – including fermentation like sourdough – though gluten free foods are always clearly indicated as such
  • real, quality fats like animal lards, whole milk butters and rich oils
  • a variety of vegetables and fruits
  • alternatives diets like Paleo, Keto, gluten-free and others
