Learn to make your own powdered sugar from granulated sugar and a drying agent. Substitute table sugar for any healthier sugar you’d like to use instead.
Stop and shake the blender body to mix up the sugar.
Blend for another minute, and then stop and shake the container.
Repeat until all the granulated sugar has powdered.
Wait for the sugar dust to die down before you remove the powdered sugar.
Empty from the blender body into an airtight container and store indefinitely.

Be sure not to blend the sugar too long as the heat from the blades will start to make the sugar tacky and sticky.The yield is approximate. Generally, 1 cup of granulated sugar will result in 1 ¾ - 2 cups of powdered sugar.The starch is optional; it will simply prevent the powdered sugar from clumping.You can follow this process with any granulated sugar, including alternatives to sugar like erythritol. Omit the starch if you’re following a low-carb or keto diet.
