Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Rose Petal Tea*
  • 3 Cups whole milk
  • 1 Cup Cream
  • 2/3 Cup Lactose; you can also use 1/3 Cup Organic Cane Sugar instead
  • 2/3 Cup Organic Cane Sugar
  • 1 tsp Organic Beef Gelatin

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients in a blender and put into ice cream
    maker canister.
  • Follow all instructions for your ice cream maker.

Notes

*Here's how to make a simple rose petal tea that will infuse the flavor
of the petals and a bit of the color into your ice cream.
  1. Gather two cups of petals and put them into a small saucepan. Cover with 1 ¼ cup of water, place a lid on the pot and simmer over medium heat for about fifteen minutes.
  2. Make sure the water level stays constant and add more if you need to.
  3. You can either strain out the petals (which will have lost most of their color by now) or you can toss the whole caboodle into the blender.
