Healthy Treat tags will take you to articles here at Homestead Lady that are recipes for desserts and other sweet treats that are made with only wholesome ingredients.  We never include ingredients like corn syrup or other processed sugars, margarine, highly processed grains or synthetic dyes.  Instead, we will help you craft a healthy kitchen based on whole foods principles:

  • whole, properly processed grains – including fermentation like sourdough
  • real, quality fats like animal lards, whole milk butters and rich oils
  • a variety of vegetables and fruits
  • alternatives diets like Paleo, Keto, gluten-free and others

We firmly believe that healthy treats can be made and enjoyed by all homestead families.
